About us
The DAW – German-Asian Business Circle was founded in 1995 by the Honorary Consul General of Nepal, Bodo Krueger. Since then it emerged as one of the most influential organisations in Germany when it comes to business in Asia. The DAW is now a network of more then 1,900 companies and institutions aiming to build friendship between Asian countries and Germany as well as bridges between the cultures.
The DAW helps its members to realise their projects in Asia and to establish helpful contacts. For its Asian members the DAW provides the same service in Germany. We organise events on current issues in Asia and Germany. We offer a regular contact platform to decision makers in politics, diplomacy, economy and tourism. We furthermore invite companies who successfully operate in Asia. We organise delegation trips to Asia and give support to our small and medium size companies on their growth path. The DAW also offers organisation of seminars and workshops during the delegation trips.
The DAW organises economic summits in Germany and helps Asian investors to find the right partners and investment areas. Doing so the DAW consults the Asian companies from A to Z.
Our members and friends learn about different mentalities and cultures and socialise with Asians. On the other side, out friends from Asia get new insights in the German business life and culture. |
