Our Mission

The DAW offers its members a regular contact platform with decision-makers from politics, diplomacy and business and to exchange experiences with Entrepreneurs who successfully maintain business relations in and with Asia. The DAW places experts from all relevant areas of the company in the entire Asia-Pacific region and legal areas and maintains intensive contacts with the Asian consulting Embassies and the Diplomatic Corps.

With more than 1,900 registered companies and institutions, the DAW is one of the largest and most influential organizations in Germany in relation to Asia. The DAW obtains neither subsidies nor state grants and is financed purely by the private sector.

This makes DAW the only independent organisation of this size in Germany.
